Pretty!

100% Polyester

That's what Isla thinks. This one is pretty. I'll have to make her a hat out of this yarn. She actually nodded when I asked her if she wanted a hat. She makes me laugh.

It's not quite finished. About to go for a drive to get more yarn to finish it off. I love this one also. The little 'lumps' (technical term there) of pink and white. It's so soft. Perfect for photographing baby girls.

Yesterday I finished..

I used actual baby yarn for this one. It's very soft and light as a feather. Bit more on the expensive side. Will be great for Spring and Summer.

I think with these cocoons, you can dress baby up or down to suit the temperature. So the cocoons don't have to be just limited to the Winter months.

I've started another tonight. Mainly pink yarn with some white. Can't wait to finish it and see how it looks!

Today I had a maternity photoshoot. A friend is having twin boys! I got some lovely shots and will share them here when I get around to processing them. I have another shoot I did to finish processing.

For now, I'm off to bed!

Just finished

I love this yarn! So soft and fluffy. The flecks of colour is unique.

I checked out Spotlight again today. Picked up some more gorgeous yarns to fullfill some current requests. Can't wait to see how they turn out and should have them done by next week. Will post pic's here when I've finished them.

On a completely different note, I want to share a pic of my DD. I just love the outfit on her even though the pic isn't a great one. I had her bunny ('BooBoo') and she was crying at me to give it to her. So a rushed shot of her in the outfit.

I love making these cocoons. I plant in front of the telly and just knit. It's such a relaxation thing for me I think.

They make great presents too! Two friend's had babies days apart. So I made one each for them as a gift.
